Tee Off

What a beautiful welcoming hole! Open fairway and little to no trouble. Out-of-bounds to the far right, reachable for only some players. Out-of-bounds short right is reachable for everyone but is normally to short to trouble most players. There have been times though!!!! The green can be reached for the long hitters, but is guarded by a large tree on the left front of the green, as well as two well placed bunkers. One bunker sits on the left front side after the green, and the second bunker is situated on the front right hand side of the green. Your target line for your drive should be the right bunker near the green so your ball can filter down from right to left, leaving you the best chance of staying on the fairway.

Approach

Whatever club you choose to approach the green with, it will be tricky. Average approach to this raised green is anything from 100 meters to 150 meters. The green is long and sure is narrow, so you haven't much space for error. You will also have to contend with two well placed bunkers on either side of the approach. Your target is directly between the two bunkers.

The Green

The green on the first hole is very long in length, but also very narrow towards the front, and widens a little towards the back of the green. Not much more I might add. You don't want to be too far over the green, as there is a thick patch of dense grass guarding the back. This is about 3 meters from the back of the green. The first green is a challenging one as it's a mushroom shaped green, so be sure to keep your ball in the middle, else it may roll of the sides. Be sure not to be left of this green, as it is about one meter below the hole coming back up the hill again. The good miss would be slightly right.
