The final par 3 and yet again challenging. With 3 bunkers covering the green, you face an elevated tee box to a challenging green. Many struggle in the windy conditions because you don't want to go too far right, as out-of-bounds awaits all the way down the right hand side. Some prefer to place it short in front of the green and then run it up to the pin keeping the bunkers out of play. Either way, a good round can start going downhill on this beautiful par 3.

The 17th green at Umkomaas is really quiet large, with a steep front to get onto the green. If you make it onto the green and over the front ridge, you are good to go for a birdie opportunity or else welcome to settle for a satisfying par.
