Tee Off

TA blind tee shot down the hill for the average golfer and an easy hole if you hit the ball straight. The fairway slopes from right to left. Whatever you play off the tee, it's advisable to aim right of middle so the slope of the fairway don't take your ball into the trees on the left of the fairway. The hole is heavily guarded on the right hand side with out-of-bounds, and a visit to the Umkomaas Police Station will unfortunately add a few more digits to your score card. For the long straight hitters, pull out the driver, the green is just around the corner on this dog-leg short hole. Don't make an error though!

Approach

Your approach shot, on the fairway, should allow you to attack the pin, however beware of the well placed bunker on the front left, which will deal with any short approaches. The smart approach though should be the bank on the right hand side of the green which will funnel your ball toward the green/pin. This green is not always as receptive as expected on any given day, which means your ball can easily run off the left side of the green, where you will have deep rough to contend with. Wind is a huge factor determining what club to tee off with as well as your approach. If you on the green in two in difficult conditions, you've done well and a par/birdie will be your reward.

The Green

This small sleek green can be a nightmare to deal with. It is quick and has a few slight curves to throw at you. If your approach shot is on the green, be happy to walk away with a 2 putt. Off the green and chipping, good luck!
